I have some mud, salt, clay mixture crap on my truck I just can’t get off. I’ve been through a car wash’s and hand washed several times. Any suggestions short of a hammer and chisel?

Is maybe tar that is covered in dust/dirt? If so, you'll need a strong solvent.

Presoak, a degreaser in the car wash for a few mins then try.

We have tons of clay in my region and standard presoak gets all that off for me.
