    Hello everyone,
I need some advice. I’ve been a long time lurker and first time poster. I recently purchased a Rostra aftermarket cruise control kit (250-1836) with the universal disengagement switch for the clutch (250-4206).
I know that there are multiple threads and I have read through all of them and just had a few more questions for anyone who has done this on a bone stock non wired manual truck. I am somewhat puzzled by the instructions when they call some things like the clock-switch which I assume is just a wire and their diagrams are less than helpful for wiring. I have been able to disassemble all of the dash and have the all of the wires that I need exposed however, my question lies with adding in the wiring harness from the kit. It discussed adding these on by the red t-taps and I’m not sure if they mean I need to cut the wire versus pull it out of the connector and add the t-tap. I also questioned some of the pictures like the one on the Rostra instruction form 5367 page 4. The one photo it shows a single wire coming out of figure 13 but in figure 15 there are multiple wires coming out with only the addition of the ground/clock spring and the brown ECM wire. If anyone has any insight or additional resources, let me know. I have scoured YouTube, and found some videos that are close but not quite there. If there’s a thread I’m missing and someone can point it to me I would be appreciative! Thanks again.
