Can somebody tell me in the park neutral connector for a 4.0 V6 what wire color sends power to the drive circuit.

Bump on this. Besides the LB / B wire. Is there another signal the ECU needs to see to get the circuit active? I can get all others R,N, 3,2,L by touching the appropriate wires. Though sending power to the D wire doesn’t work, which makes me believe there’s another signal needed.

I'm assuming your referring to the cruise control system?
    What engine do you have?

Here's diagrams for both engines and the ECM pinout for the cruise system, the pin on the chart labeled clutch switch input signal (Blue/Black) is the same as the D signal for an automatic (needs to be 10-14v to enable the cruise)
There's 2 signal wires from the brake switch, the Violet/White needs to be 10-14V with the pedal released and the Blue needs to be below 1v with the pedal released.
Does the cruise light come on when you press the on/off button?

The ECM needs to see the signals I listed above as well as a vehicle speed signal above 25mph in order to get the cruise to set.
A proper scan tool can read codes and data from the cruise system, otherwise your down to checking voltages and signals with a meter/scope.

Just curious, wouldn’t it be easier to wire the truck into D to give all the correct signals since I’m still running the Auto harness?

I don't see why not, as long as the D terminal at the ECM is at 12v the cruise should be enabled as long as all the other signals are correct.
The only issue with going that route is the cruise isn't going to cancel when you step on the clutch like it normally would on a manual trans truck so the engine could potentially rev up if you stepped on the clutch with the cruise engaged.

I can see that. Toyota usually shares harnesses, so hopefully there isn’t much of a change between the auto and MT. 05-08 all came prewired for auto or MT

Prewired yes. Unless it’s a single cab. I know my buddys 06 and a friends 08 have all the plugs. If your talking about cruise, just buy the cruise control stalk and plug it in.

Years ago I bought the stalk and tried but it didn't work. I started to wonder if toyota changed my clock spring to one that doesn't support cruise. I have a base access cab 4.0 4x4 auto and that's it no power anything. But toyota changed my original clock spring on recall. Do you know if a clock spring for a truck with no steering wheel control's are different. Tia

Mine was a 2009 base 4x4 auto but I had power locks and windows. I do not have steering wheel buttons. I didn’t have cruise or intermittent windshield wipers either. Those both plugged in and worked. Foglights we’re the same way as well as the upper console compass and reverse camera mirror

Thanks for reply. I do know I'm presided for fog lights the rest I'll check. Thanks

It sounds like the 4.0 base model trucks came with the correct clock spring for cruise control. I have an 09 2.7L base model and i had to swap clock springs to get cruise control to work. My truck was prewired though, just had to add the clutch switch and clock spring swap

Bumping this again. I think I may have found the cruise culprit. Since I was an auto 4wd truck. My speed was measured from the wheel speed sensors. The MT trans measures speed from the VSS on the Transfercase. I just now have to find a way to get the signal to the correct places.

Revival again. Does the MT use the skid control ecu? Also I see in theroy I can pull the R /Y from SP1 and route it to the sensor on the Transfercase output. But now the opposite side W-G need combo meter pin 3. Which should be the plug for the stalk right?

What are you trying to do?
Vehicle speed on 05-11 manuals comes from the Vehicle Speed Sensor to the Combination Meter and the Combination Meter outputs it to all the other modules.
I went in depth on how the vehicle speed signal works here (Look under P0500)
