My issue is my truck was an auto. The harness is still the auto harness. I currently pull my speed from the skid control ecu and all 4 wheel sensors. But I’m running the MT ECU. So for my cruise to work in theory I have to adjust wires to get my cruise to engage.

You shouldn't have to do anything with the speed circuit, the difference is in the wiring to the Combination Meter. The PCM gets the same signal on the same wire regardless of if it's an Auto or Manual.
You would have a P0500 in the PCM if it wasn't getting a speed signal.

Yes, but I think the PCM is expecting a signal elsewhere since the harness is for an auto but the pcm is from a 6speed.

wait I read that wrong. I’ll see what wires I need to change.

Have you verified the brake signal and transmission/clutch signal wires are getting the proper signal at the PCM?

A scan tool that can read cruise data would be useful to see what the PCM is seeing and doing.

Is there a scanner program that can read that via a tablet? I use forscan for my Ford diesel. I wonder if Toyota has one.

Toyota's factory software is Techstream and then a proprietary interface cable, there are clones/cracked versions out there but it's not something I would personally use.

The only scan tools I have personal experience with are the ones I have listed here and I looked at a a few more on the lower end that claim to have full functionality and posted them here although I don't own them so I can't say how good they actually are.

So the leg in the image is not ran. I see the pcm expects a signal from that switch. I should be able to run a leg from the pcm to the switch then back to the second pin?

You said you still have the AT harness installed, just jump those 2 wires together or if you want a clutch switch use that wire at PB Pin 3.
Either way the PCM need to see 12v at E9 Pin 27 in order to enable the cruise.

So if I want the switch, jump pb3 pin 3 to pin 27 of connector e9 and pin12 of connector E11

Update. Last night I ran the wires and had ign power going to both of the pins needed for clutch switch.

    E9 Pin 27 to E11 Pin 12

Started the truck and boom. ABS, Brake and check engine.

Probed interior fuse box and found IGN 2 fuse blown. Hmm, looking at my diagram you see it’s suppose to get voltage.

Closer inspection of the PCM pin out, Pin 12 of connector E11 already gets gets power before I jumped it. (That’s why it Blew)

Removed the jumper and tried again.
No warning lights…sweet. Checked voltage, 12v normally -> when pressed 0v perfect.

Test drove and it’s all working correctly.
Thank you for all the help and diagrams.
