    Cruise control doesn’t work on the first drive of the day. Cruise light comes on but won’t engage on the way to work. Works fine on the way home. Wtf 3.4l with a automatic

    Sounds like a heat-related problem to me. Maybe some connector or connection pin is not... connecting ... when it's cold. After warming up the engine, stuff expands and in the case of connectors, the mating pins then touch enough to make... contact! Could also be something inside the cruise control box. Something mechanical. Dunno. Never opened one up. Just a thought.

    That was my thought. Pull the plug off and sprayed with electrical spray cleaner. We’ll see if that helps. Might wrap some insulation around it one night and see if that makes a difference.
