Just started my truck and my cruise control light started flashing. It stays flashing from when I turn it on till I turn my truck off including while I drive. Cruise control so far works fine. It has an Automatic transmission. Any ideas out there?

Here is what I can offer as far as advice. Looks like your ECU is trying to tell you there is a problem. You need to check it for DTC(trouble code). I am not positive, but the ECU is probably located in the right cowl trim (hand kick) panel area. Image below is from 2000MY.

There is a Toyota Spec Service Tool recommended. https://toyota.service-solutions.com/en-US/Pages/ItemDetail.aspx?SKU=09843-18020

BTW, since you say it is working fine AND CC is not a safety related item, you could just disconnect the battery for 30 minutes to reset the trouble code and see if it re-occurs. Might have just been some momentary condition that set the code.
