As you can probably read from my other post about my issues with installing and making a stock cruise control system to work on my '01 Taco.

Well, went back to the junker to look at how the cruise was from that junked '01 taco but they have already crushed it. Now, there is a '96 4runner out there.

My new question is, can I use the cruise system from a '96 4runner and install it (plug-n-play) onto my 01 Taco?

I've looked throught the FSMs but not sure. Just wanted opinoins from you pros here. thanks.

As far as I can tell, everything should work AS LONG AS BOTH VEHICLES HAVE AN ETCS.
