cruiser control install

    2006 silver DC tacoma V6 auto prerunner

    another quick low and dirty on the cruiser control install for a prewired truck. it should go without saying but your pulling the airbag, so disconnect your battery first. in all I think I paid about 50 dollars for this mod. the control stick came from ebay, all other parts from the dealer.

    two torque head bolts on either side of steering wheel will loosen but not come out due to plastic retainers.

    remove airbag

    remove two wires from airbag by prying yellow tabs back with small screwdriver

    remove existing ground wire that goes from back of bag to wheel. replace with new ground wire (PN pictured) that has extra wire for control stick.

    install control stick with two screws (PN pictured)

    reinstall air bag

    install new bezel (PN pictured)

    check to ensure it works, snug up torque bolts
