About a week and a half ago my wife decided it was time to remove the Massive hedge from the front of the house. I was pretty stoked because it was such an eyesore and collected trash from whatever was blowing in the wind. My friend and I went to work and quickly had the hedge cut down and ready for a "dump run". The following day my wife and I rented a Haul trailer, loaded it up and on our way we went the the Transfer Station in San Carlos.

I only took a picture of the cut down hedges after I loaded the first load.

First load included quite a bit of extra crap due to being on the tail end of a major house renovation.

    Second load was managed better.

I arrive at the Transfer Station and start backing into my assigned spot(Note to self-Never bring my nervous Nancy of a wife back to that place) all the while Monica is giving me signals on where the trailer is in respect to where it needs to be. Dummy me never bothered to watch my front end swing...

    So this happened.

Thankfully, in a previous life, I have made a fairly great roster of connections in the automotive industry and set about to make a few phone calls. Two days later I had a new Toyota fender sitting at a friends shop to be painted(Free is never free and my gratitude will always find a way to over pay for the debt). Shout out to Vee at Charles Henry in The City. Great work fellas! By last Friday I had a great paint matched fender ready for install.I set upon it Monday around 10am.

    After a full disassembly

I hit a Dump Skiff. Those things are made from 1" plate steel. Good thing I stopped the second I heard "crunch". Or else I would have been looking at a much more expensive repair bill, i.e. insurance claim...

Know exactly what you're talking about. Ouch.

To clarify, by "nice work" I meant the repair, not the damage. lol
