    Damn sorry to see that.

I cut every damn tree that was in falling distance of the house/vehicles. My wife was pissed until our neighbors house had two trees do 200k in damage.

I did the same, and sleep much much better these days. I’ll pay extra on the electric bill running the A/C a little more from the lack of shade all day every day.

    Oh look, another mod....
The truck is just metal and glass, and can be replaced. It's only important that you and your family got through it okay.

Those pillars in the cabin on 3rd gens are made of 1,480 MPa-level steel, very strong, probably why those trees didn't crush it. Which if damaged cannot be sectioned / repaired, only replaced. You might be waiting for parts for a while the way things are today.

2nd gens used wimpy 980 MPa. Probably would have crushed it like a beer can.

The roof is rushed down 2", and B pillar is bent down and in, both doors are bent. Also junkie factor tonneau has holes, which doesn't hurt my feels at all. MX4 would replace it. If truck is repairable.

Im surprised it's not worse. Usually cars fold like a pop can. It's good to know the Taco is that tough. Sucks that your Taco got squished. Good that Taco's are worth a lot if you have to replace it. Bad cuz they are hard as hell to get right now! Thank god you and your family are safe! Good luck op!
