you need to give them a bank account # and routing # to receive payments. also heard paypal but not 100% on that. I made an account with the minimum amount to start it and gave them that info. bought my coins with a credit card

Start a new bank account with the minimum amount needed to start it . Use that account and routing# for buying selling or trading...With the account in force and setup you have your crypto escape plan ready to cash out at any moment.

I did earlier in the year. I used Coinbase and did the maximum amount with a credit card purchase for which was still under $100. Was able to sell it for a profit and the money was deposited into my checking account without issue. I never did buy more after the successful transaction.

I'm invested in Ripple. It's kind of playing the long game that banks will eventually use Ripple for their international transaction backing and that their currency will get adopted by banks for the liquidity. The big potential downside is that there's nothing stopping anyone from using any other cryptocurrency. It's just a gamble that Ripple will be able to convince people to use their currency instead of others'

Bitstamp verification is slow AF. Fortunately for you, Ripple has been fairly stable for the last week or so

Ok, is anyone here really up on this stuff? Specifically Bitcoin. Here is the deal.. my company got hacked probably 3 or 4 years ago because my boss is horrible with his email and internet habits. So we got a ransomware virus and our IT guy suggested to us to pay the ransom, which we had to do via bitcoin. I found a machine, a kiosk basically, where you have to feed it cash, and you get Bitcoin into your "account" or whatever. The ransom was something like 520 Bitcoin, I put 6, crisp 100 dollar bills in the machine. I paid the ransom and that's the end of it. I had 80 Bitcoin left over in my account but nothing to do with it, so there it sat. Fast forward to the last episode of The Big Bang Theory where they were all crazed about some Bitcoin they had and I remembered that I have 80 Bitcoins in my account.

So looking up on the internet it says the coins are worth close to 10k each. But looking into it, I can't buy anything, I can't get cash for them, they are worth $800k but no, they aren't worth anything actually, are they? What am I supposed to do with these worthless Bitcoins?

You can use something like Coinbase to sell them for USD which will get deposited straight into your account. Be mindful that your bank will lose its fucking mind if you just deposit 800k so best to call them first.

Another note is that due to the crazy spike on bitcoin, I believe coinbase is restricting/suspending withdrawls right now, but I don't think that will last for more than a few days.

Feel free to tip me in either bitcoin or USD for all of this valuable information and for helping you be close to a millionaire overnight ;)
