I picked up a couple thousand Ripple for the long haul. Don't plan on doing anything with it for a few years.

If this isn't a joke, make sure you take the right actions to pay the taxes after you cash out. Or else you'll have the IRS on your back

(It's fairly obvious he's trolling- bitcoin hasn't been worth $1 since early 2011)

If @jethro isn’t baiting, I’d go to japan or certain places in Europe and spend it there since it can be spent there in some places. If not you could always do the lending bit which a lot of people do. Or if you really want to sell it for cash, you could join xcoins and sell it there. They call it lending as well, but technically you’re selling your btc for cash through PayPal transactions and you could also charge interest as etc. They have a verification process as well that seems tedious but works.

This is not a joke, I swear I have something like 80 bitcoins, or maybe 60. It's going to be a real nightmare getting them, I made some account on an old phone, an app or something, it's how I had to use the kiosk- which was in a fucking shady bar in Manchester NH by the way. They weren't a dollar when I bought them, I think it was something like 800 US dollars that got us close to 600 bitcoins? I don't remember, this was all a fucking scam by some terrorist bastards. Not kidding, this is real! I wouldn't make something like this up, I'd make something up way more interesting. We sent them to some thief in Russia or wherever and then forgot about the extra ones after we got our code to unlock all our files. Seriously, what is Coinbase... they don't just give me cash for these imaginary Bitcoins? I'm not going to Japan to sell Bitcoins, Christ, this all came about by some terrorist that hyjacked our files, I can just see myself getting killed or something. I remember being so pissed that the world made up a kind of money for terrorists. I'm still pissed to be honest! This is not some story I made up, this is real. What the fuck would I have done with the extra bitcoins back then.. it's not real money you idiots!! You can't buy SHIT with it! I'm going to look into getting that app reinstalled on my phone, hopefully I can retrieve that account, but seriously, I have like 60 of these bitcoins.

And what would you do with it?! That's what I am trying to figure out! I have the bitcoins, I am being told they are crazy in value, but try to buy something with them. USELESS!!! I can't buy a truck or a house or anything really. I'm just confused how the can be said to be worth "X" when you can't buy things with them. That makes them worth NOTHING

@jethro I'll take a few and let you know how things turn out. Lol j/k. not true you can buy things such as a house or car etc... you just have to find out who is accepting them.
