    So by going off Charlie are you not going to partake in the zclassic fork? Since it has bitcoin in the name its a scam according to Charlie...

    Not going off Charlie, as I said, I saw the litecoin cash fork as a scam last week before the article (released today).

    Bullish on ZCL for the BTCP fork. BTCP is 10x more legit than litecoin scam

    I read that article this morning and it doesnt really do anything to address them being a scam outside of Charlie....

    Now if they had mentioned actual research on why they are (probably) a scam instead of just quoting tweets it would have been nice. No public github, supposedly been working on it for months yet just now hearing about it, poor support for getting coins, team of four and no real public info on the team, the list goes on and on.

    BTCP is definitely more legit. But we still have to see where the project goes after the fork. It will either be a legit project or have been the biggest pump and hype so far in the crypto world

    Better to just hold if I were you :)

    But yes if you are watchful and know trends you can do that. But you also have the potential to miss out if you predict a drop, sell, and then it goes up.

    Its getting bad, Im almost broke.
    IMO, the big $ will come to those who hold good quality coins. If y’all would just hold litecoin it will hit at least $2000 inside of 2 years. Oh, and heres a coin that I think will be huge....Decred DCR. The folks behind this are prior Bitcoin team. They were the best on the team as well. They up and left with all the drama and decided to make a bitcoin killer. Decred is everything Bitcoin should have been. Its $79.00 today

    What exchange is DCR listed? Couldn't find it on Coinexchange, Kucoin or Binance.

    If you are wondering what exchanges hold a certain coin. Find the coin on coinmarketcap.com, click the markets tab. There you go

    You talking about the coinbase option similar to paypal when buying products through merchants? Haven't heard of a "paypal tab" on coinbase

    Sometimes I will do a pretend buy and just write down what I bought and try to swing trade... most of the time it goes poorly as I still have so much to learn about charts and patterns. If you do get good at it then just start with a small amount of money and see how it goes

    It was "announced" the beginning of the month. Their announcement was pretty much "hey we forking and making litecoin cash!" with no details. O and we are forking in 2 weeks! Which is why most people are saying to be very careful of it since it smells fishy. But it (sadly) has been given quite a bit of media attention. both just in name and by Charlie tweeting about it which ha sonly brought it into more peoples vision.

    To win over investors and traders the forkers are offering free LCC tokens for LTC holders at a ratio of ten to one. This is the common method of drumming up support for a newly forked crypto coin. The problem is that to receive the free loot a private key has to be imported to a new Litecoin Cash wallet from an existing Litecoin wallet. This is a very insecure and un-recommended method which has raised the scam flags amongst the Litecoin community.

    Additionally the Litecoin Cash team has yet to release a white paper and have not provided a safe way to collect the tokens. At the time of writing it is also unclear whether exchanges will support LCC or dish out the free bounty to LTC holders when the fork occurs.

    Michael “Scarlet” Wyszynski, one of the LCC developers told Business Insider;

    “As to the name, it’s strictly a product of convention. No confusion is intended, but it has simply become customary for a new coin arising from a fork to use the forked coin’s name as a prefix to its own,”

    Private keys are sensitive information and you don't want to send them to anyone or another wallet. Quite possibly could lose all litecoin you put towards the fork
