Gemini gives me this. I found the Plaid thing to link it, but when I actually go to deposit this is what I'm met with.
Edit: Does the same for checking or a savings acc. I did email Gemini about it yesterday so hopefully they don't take ages to respond.

Makes sense. I think they pay out APY on LINK there because they essentially loan out your crypto like BlockFi does. It's like a crytpo bank.

Looks pretty good IMO. If I was looking to short term trade it, I would wait until it broke through that upper resistance at the top of the cup to make sure it's not a fake out. From there if you measure the depth of the cup from top to bottom, the breakout should go the same height above the top of the cup.

Go to settings Account-Settings-Payment method and choose Automatically Link Bank Account. You might want to remove your funding source you already have linked first. Maybe you chose Manual Link when you initially set it up?

Continue is grayed out and if I hover it a message says "this action will be available once you verify your identity by sending in your first deposit via wire transfer"

Gemini really doesn't want me to use them for crypto I guess.

Edit: Doesnt work on app either, except on there it wont tell me why my deposit wont go through.

My brother pointed out the NEM/XEM chart to me the other day. It looks to have quite a bit of upward potential. I swapped the rest of my THETA gains as well as my ETC gains into it today. Time will tell if that was a good decision.

do you guys think Coinbase pro or Block fi is better for long term? I have a coinbase account already setup, I wish gemini wasnt a pain, but I saw blockfi has some good interest rates. I'm mainly looking to do longer term stuff not quick flips.

If you are looking at passive income, you should look at Celsius. It has some of the top interest rates. BlockFi has lowered their rates quite a bit the last month....I wouldn't be surprised if that continues. Also, look into Voyager as well, 8% on USDC plus they are coming out with a debit card that you can link to your USDC account.

BTC held well and bumped back up to 58K which is the .618 of this recent fall. Still not out of the woods but looking promising.

ETH finally breaking through $3K!! That is huge for the rest of the alt market. I have a feeling this week is going to be a fun one as that money rotates into the rest of the alt market.

ETH is kicking A! Stellar not doing bad either. Cardano is surprisingly stagnant. When are we going to see BTC back in the 40s? I need a refill on that.

XLM is definitely looking solid. Lots of peeps are hating on cardano lately, but it’s up twice as much as ETH in the last year percentage wise. Just a matter of when people bought. Dip for btc may be delayed. Might hit 70k before it hits 40k again.

Heck may not ever see $40k again, a lot of support at $47k.

Did you end up deciding on which tax software you are using for your crypto? Finally getting started on mine.

I'm going to use Koinly. It was super simple to set up and it keeps running total of all wallets and transactions that you can see for free. It only requires you to pay when you actually want a tax form. That's $99 for up to 1000 transactions and $49 for up to 100 transactions. It integrates with TurboTax and most other major platforms online. It seems like a winner for ease of use and GUI.

Any thoughts on Chainlink? It's supposed to be a long term hold for me but I'm considering taking some profit soon and buying back in on a dip. If it breaks $45 I'll hold. If it stalls at $42-$44 range I'm gonna cash in and wait for a dip. Cost basis is $28. What are your charts saying?

Nice. Thanks for that feedback. I was talking to my brother this afternoon about it and he is going the same route. I will probably do the same. I like that they integrate into H&R block as well since I have been using it for a few years now.

For LINK, I think once it breaks through this last high of $45, I think we may see $60 or possibly higher. I am setting up sell orders between $49 and $65 for about 50% of my LINK with the intention of rolling into laggards (more EOS, DASH, BCH, Zcash and maybe XRP depending on where it's at). My average buy in was $3.50 all in the first half of 2020 so my targets may be a little different than others. The rest I may hold for $100+ but it's hard to say when other assets have so much more ground to make up. I may sell a little more if it pushes past that $60 mark.
