I think the summer's 30k lows will be the lowest we will see before a retrace to 55-58k. After that I believe we will see it slowly move downward to 12-14k. Maybe lower if the DJI tanks as well once it tops out.

Weekly potentially closing below 100 ema may not be a good a sign. If it goes sideways may retrace to the 43-44k and then dip

IMO, I think we are seeing a similar scenario playing out in the stock market and in crypto.

In crypto, Btc and ETH have both topped, I believe. And we are waiting for them to retrace so alts can run.

In stocks, lots of major caps looked to have topped out like Amazon, google, Netflix. And they’re waiting to retrace so that the mid to smaller caps can run.

Bumpity bump... spent some time, read the whole. damn. thread... I am mostly a permabull on BTC. I've been in crypto since 2013. I dabbled with some alts, mined some LTC and some now-dead shitcoins. The whole difficulty raised on up far beyond whatever junk PCs I had to use for mining.

I'm way older than 45. I was a tech support guy on servers and Linux back then. I find BTC actually more exciting than the dot com bubble. That bubble was actually scary, as many thought it had to be smoke and mirrors (anyone remember pets.com?). I like BTC better because I understand it better than the dot com mania.

God bless you guys, that are juggling half a dozen alts! I'm too old/no time to chase that now. When Mt. Gox was alive, I had a nifty Python script going, that was a balancing bot. It would mostly run unattended, it made better decisions than I could. Gox owes me 5.22 BTC....

I settled into DCA (dollar cost averaging). I quit smoking cigarettes, spent that money on BTC. My life has been much better, spending $$$ on BTC instead of cigs!

Yes, I am officially signed up to it all. I've gotten a couple of big packets in the mail from the Japanese court system, I am officially a "creditor". I'm not going to get my 5.22 BTC back, I'm supposed to get about half of that.

At the time, when Mark K. 'took the money and run' mine was valued in the several hundreds of dollars. I'll be happy to get half of it back, at today's prices...

Right-o, on enforced hodling... Again, I come to BTC from the computer geek aspect, not any sort of financial aspect at all. I knew nothing of real markets, transactional analysis, charts, nothing.

Early on I had about my first $100 in BTC (on Gox). I sold it all, there was a little dip, I bought it all back, had some little bit more of BTC.

"I AM A GENIUS! I WON'T HAVE TO WORK ANYMORE." i did this a couple of times, coincidentally kept 'winning'. Then came the my first mistakes. I realized that the more zeroes I added to my play money, the more stressful it would be to be blindly buying/selling.

I got the bot going (which was indeed a good thing). After Gox went away, I just started DCA my cigarette money. Less stress, and over time, always a winner.

Wow, BTC up to $47694 pretty quickly, but on diminishing volume... Honestly I sold most of my BTC a year ago, to pay off some bills. I wish I had more than the pittance I have remaining.
