I just got off the phone with CSF. They only have 4 radiators left in stock! This is after they fill the orders for the 6 that have already bought. They estimate having more in stock sometime in June.

All orders should ship out by the end of the week (hopefully sooner). I think they are being shipped from CSF in California, not from URD.

    Good info.

I figured it was a drop ship type setup URD has with CSF. Otherwise it wouldn't have been free shipping from URD. I've ordered lots of stuff from Gadget and never has it been free shipping.

Maybe I should scoop up the last 4 radiators and sell them for $399. :D

Also I was going to ask you @Roostfactor did you add extra trans fluid? I figure since you went to the new rad and it being empty but I’m also thinking it will hold more trans fluid in there as well since the radiator is bigger than stock?

There is not much tranny fluid in that little cooler. The new radiator probably holds a similar amount. I am not certain but I think the cooler is of the tube and fin style. Regardless it only holds a few ounces. What I did is used a brand new cheap hose sprayer, filled it with a little tranny fluid, and pumped it into the external transmission cooler line. When everything is hooked back up on the truck do you trans fluid check and let the excess drain out. Done! I'll see if I have a pic of my hose sprayer setup.

Interesting, I thought the new rad would have a larger internal tranny cooler as well. No worries for me though as I plan on getting a larger trans cooler to replace the factory one and that should keep my temps at bay hopefully.

Not the best pics but its just a $5.00 sprayer from WallyWorld. Remove nozzle and attach some clear tubing, connect to the line going from the radiator "out" to the external cooler "in". If you have a decent size syringe you could just fill like 8oz, pump it in there and call it a day.

@ThomasMore66 You might want to order one quickly or you may be waiting until June timeframe.

Ordered! My 2008 4Runner was likely due to be replaced soon, better preventative than a surprise while in the middle of Big Bend state park hours from help!

Thanks to John who I am lucky enough to call a friend for this great find!

So not counting other dealers (for FJ's and 4Runners) there are possibly three left until June.
Might want to do what Juanito said and get em while their hot!
