Yep, cover is on. I may have ripped a seam slightly trying to get it situated though :(

Got mine today as well. Seems solid. Only took 10 min to cool from 75 to ~40. Test sets it pretty close to posted temp. Have some beers in there now and will check in the AM.

How's everyone powering their fridges on trips overnight? I'm absolutely going to need to leave mine plugged in when the truck isn't running, it had warmed up entirely to ambient air temp leaving it unplugged overnight, from 33.

I don't have an always on 12v outlet in the truck, and the mod to do so on 3rd gens is kind of annoying. What are you guys doing? Eventually I'll be making a DIY goal zero equivalent, but until then I need a way to keep this thing juiced

Full of beer mine only came up to 45 deg overnight............I have also used my portable power supply to run the fridge overnight then charged it up driving around the next day. Make sure to use the econ mode and the lowest voltage cutout setting if you go the power supply route.

I plan to run an extra battery and possibly a small solar panel to keep it going.

So i have a really hard time picturing what would fit in there with beer. I currxently have a 2 cubic foot portable ff and find it too big. We typically take it for trips 3 days or longer and pack for 4. Typically 18-24 eggs lots of bacon, burgers hotdogs sandwhich stuff etc and beer. Cant figure out what a good size is and nobody carries stock to see in person. What would you fridge nerds recomend? And will there be a dual zone csi black ice fridge eventually?
