I saw a U Tube video on cubby caps to waterproof the cubbies in the bed of the Tacoma. I followed the directions for the ordering them from Mike Williams (micwillia) and paid for them through PayPal, but I’ve had no response from Mike Williams. I certainly dont expect any foul play but am wondering if I have leaped before I looked, and Mike maybe no longer offers the modification, or has moved on or whatever. It’s only 22 bucks so I’m not crushed but I LIKE THE MOD and would like to follow through. If anyone has any info I’d appreciate it. Thank you. :)

I have read through it and I still don't understand what these clips do. Hold the cubby more snug against the door flap?

No, they keep water from coming up through the slots that the door tabs go into. If you take the cubby door off, you will see that the slots are open to the area behind the bedside.

Affirmative. If you watch the u tube video where the guy runs his water hose on those cubby door without this modification you will see the need for waterproofing. They get extremely wet inside.

Thanks for weighing in on this and I’m not one to think the worst about things, I try always to see the good. I have all the faith in the world. Again I like the modification and am looking forward to dry storage. :)
