Cummins diesel in 2018 Tacoma?

I read some stuff out there on the net about a possible Cummins diesel engine being dropped into a 2018 Taco. Mere fantasy, or possibility?

doubtful. Toyota has their own diesel, they just need to get their heads out of their asses and make the changes needed to get into the US market

Cummins engines are overrated. The gas engine would probably end up performing better anyway.
