Cup holder foam tabs

FYI

The factory foam tabs in my cupholders finally broke. I went to Toyota and ordered some new ones. When they came in, I was shocked to see that they weren't the same cheesy foam types, in fact the new ones were a reinforced type of rubber. Looks like they will last forever.

 

Anything other than a nalgene bottle and you need them. I have a mouse pad I've been keeping around intending to replace the foam with... but still haven't bothered.

 

Hate to post this after the fact of you buying new ones, but, someone posted a PDF file of templates to make your own. Doesn't help you now, but, if you do a search you will find the thread.

x2 on that, ive got one ready to go whenever the remaining oem ones fall off mine

 

mine have fallen off already .... for both of the cup holders.

i actually just printed the pdf file. going to the department store tmrw to try and find the rubber gasket.
