Also following. I have the five speed and if I have my coffee cup, tall and skinny, and put it in the smaller holder I cannot shift into second or fourth. Cup sticks up too tall.

Wonder if we can flip it around so the good little cup holder is at the back. (EDIT: You Cant. Just went out and checked)

I see some people on the 3d printed parts thread with cupholder inserts. If my printer wasn't busted I would try to make one for the 6MT.

I’m emailing AJT Designs today as they make an insert for the FJs,
His are a harder plastic, I’m asking him because I use the rubber inserts.
and I’m wondering if his would fit, the Toyota one is great but I don’t want to glue it in there.
It stays in place pretty good when installed with force, in the cooler months it likes to slip out.

I do love that it’s “quieter” and it’s easily removable. I always carry a 32oz Nalgene in the large one and can carry something smaller using the insert.

Guess you could try like an industrial Velcro or something.

    FWIW, Toyota PN is 55616-35010
