    1) That would make it a permanent mod, which wouldn't be good.
    2) If you glued a temporary mod, then you're (essentially) ruining the entire center console assembly to glue down a $20 cup holder.

Or if you have a Gatorade bottle to put in the holder... it's like our trucks were designed only for 20 oz soda bottles..

Any non-water liquid spills in them and they need to come out for cleaning, so..

How would they get dirt underneath them when they essentially seal the compartment when they're being used? Gluing a $20 bill to an $800 bill make-a no sense-a.

    Or any bottle.

Only thing that actually sits in them is fast food cups and soda cans. Most water bottles (filled from home, not store bought) will not fit.

They get dirty, too.. being able to take them out for cleaning and to make room for larger bottles is the whole point of them. That's why they ain't glued in from the factory.

Velcro could work if your bottle is small enough, there's a hell of a lot more friction on my 30 oz RTIC tumbler on the rubber cup holder insert than there is holding a few strips of velcro together. No doubt in my mind it'd still take the insert with it every single time, and then I'd still have shitty adhesive on my center console to clean off, and on my cup holder insert, which would still be attached to my bottle.

I know it's the same pic. I was just curious as to whether or not @wake100 cup holders would fit or not

    No.

But the other item I showed you will.

The pic was just kind of crazy, I assume when someone shows a pic of their dirty interior they took it themselves, what are the odds you pulled the same pic as the eBay seller? The internet is full of pics.. billions.. that coincidence doesn't happen too often. Let me enjoy it, god damnit.

If I have my water bottle I just take them out, but my coffee cup and most other beverages I use the rubber. I think it's a poor design and personally feel like they should have kept the earlier adjustable ones like we have pictured throughout the thread. But I'm no rocket engineer for toyota.

Because truck things?? The bad thing is I've seen larger vehicles with more cup holders, almost all of them with old drinks in them. I think it's so you can be lazy don't have to throw a beverage away, just simply relocate to another cup holder where it can spill. Haha
