Or some of us don't stop at convenience stores nonstop and instead take an appropriate amount of hydration for what we want with us. Don't chime in if its not productive to the discussion, just keep it in your own head. Better for you and better for the rest of the world - online or in real life.

I will not be changing the design. To do so would require tens of thousands of dollars in retooling. Not going to happen. As far as the tabs "breaking off", that isn't going to happen either. I personally guarantee it. Please trust that I have designed dozens of injection molded parts with snap fits and similar features, so proper consideration has been given to this design.

Appreciate and respect that. It wasn't said lightly, but it does take a TON of time, thought, energy, and iteration to develop items like this of precision and quality.

    Thank you for that!

I gotta say the Z precision cup holder I put in my third gen is one of my favorite and most practical upgrades I’ve made to my truck.

The small carton from Panda Express fits in a standard cup holder that's how small the small is. You'd be surprised how your shopping habits change when you are required to pay for a bag. I believe Chicken Fries, or the packaging was engineered to fit in the cup holder. I can't recall this KFC go cup that can accommodate both a slider and fries.[IMG]

The last time I ate KFC, like at least 30 years ago, I got explosive diarrhea. So not only do I not want that greasy ass fried rat in my truck, but not in my life. YMMV.

Just did my install today. Very easy. Great quality materials.

I had two questions for you. What is the intended method of removing the reducing ring? It's got some "sharp" edges and really stays in place. Great that it stays in, but hurts a bit to pull haha.

Second question, are you planning any alternative inserts? Looks like it's designed with possible alternate inserts in mind. Divider, something with a spring retainer, etc?

I have been waiting for a larger cupholder! Living in Colorado necessitates lots of water consumption. So hauling around a reusable water bottle is a necessity. Been using an owala 24 oz vacuum bottle for 6 years. The fit is so poor in stock cup holders, have to angle the bottle towards the opposite side of the vehicle and then the bottle doesn't even push all the way down. The bottle doesn't seat at the bottom of the cupholder so sticks up and makes access to the shifter (AT) awkward. Very inconvenient when driving in the mountains and using the tranny/ engine compression to maintain speed on long down hill stretches. My 2nd gen Tacoma and 5th gen 4runner cupholders worked perfectly. IMO the cupholder was a huge design over sight.

Thank you for the positive review and your business!

To answer your first question - the reducer features an undercut which is designed for a pointer finger or middle finger (queue the jokes lol). However I realized that the lack of a radius on that edge does feel a little “sharp”, so after the first few shipments I began to break that edge with a deburring tool to “soften” it. If you purchased one and it has a “sharp” edge here, please reach out to me and I’ll take care of you.

As for the second question, yes I am considering making some alternative reducers but it will be a little while. In the mean time I am considering designing some that are 3D printer friendly so people can download the designs for free and print ones that suit their needs.

I will be purchasing your product this week, thank you for going through the time and effort to design it. Suggestion/ question I don't have much need for the reducer, but a little snap-in centerpiece without the rest of the reducer would be a cool feature and take care of the issues someone had earlier with the holes in the cup holder. I'm sure you thought of this, but I was wondering if you had any plans to manufacture or design a snap-in accessory like that?

That's how I was attempting, I'll just hit it with a deburring tool no need to ship anything.

I have resin and filament printers so I would love to try some prints if you do go that route. Seems like a very unique/great business route.
