Cup holders to fit bed tie-down rails?

Ram Trucks had the best idea:

 

They started making that in 2012 right? So in 3 years or so there should be a huge supply of those boxes off trucks that don't run any more that we can get cheap and figure out how to install on tacomas

 

^I think closer to 4 years. 1+4=5 years i.e. expiration of the powertrain warranty.

I think modifying the Tacoma to fit it is too much work, though. A narrowed bed width is required (similar to the flareside pickups).

 

Like we don't have enough cup holders (dcab 13). LOL

Good idea though. I'm sure you could get a T-slot nut and take one of those "over the door" style, cut it and put a bolt/washer through it.
