    Thanks man!

The reason for the "stepped feature" on the bottom is because they print with the front surface flat against the bed for the best surface quality. By the time it gets to the "bottom" surface, it is effectively angled at the top (you can see this in the software screenshot). The printer can move in "steps" along z axis (vertically) but it can not do a "slope". Hence the "steps" on the bottom. I could smooth it out a bit in the software, but each one would go from 7 hours to up to 40 hours , and it would still be slightly stepped. Thats why its on the bottom :D

Everybody went out last week except for a few

Joseph W and Bret C are out today
    J Gibson will be tomorrow
Hoping for Jeremy W and Charles Thursday
    and William C on Friday

Usually no lead time, but the machine ran a bad batch of parts over the weekend which was a big shame, combined with a large influx of orders. Pushing to get back on track between last week of class and such!

Item received, The 1/4 inch of sleet on the ground didn't stop delivery from USPS today. So far it holds my normal water bottle ( not yeti) and a buffalo wild wings to go cup just fine. Thank you Ryan.

Another member asked for a custom insert which had a closed bottom for holding change and such, extra deep to go down as far as possible. Came out great! Can probably still be used for cans and such as needed too.

Wish I took a picture of when it came off the printer - it took almost three times as much filament as a normal part, and about half of that was "support material" which was removed and thrown away. (Last pic) Support material is needed to keep the bottom surface of the "closed" side from collapsing while printing. Once the print is completed it is all removed. This isn't necessary on parts with thru holes or overhangs less than 15 degrees from vertical. Interesting stuff!

I also like the idea of the cup holder going down as far as possible.
