Cure for touchy throttle on '06 ?

    I searched and found nothing on this . Is it me , or is the throttle extremely touchy during on/off transition on these things ? Any fix for it ? Thanks

    Yeah , that's what I was attemting to decribe . There's a wierd lag at the 2-1 downshift that makes it kinda snatchy .

    I never worried about the 2-1 downshift, but it certainly doesn't like to on mine. Only if I'm foot to the firewall will it drop to 1st. This makes it impossible to get up and going from a rolling stop with any gusto, especially with my tires.

    This just during normal driving when you slow down to almost a halt and go to take off . Bought the truck new 3 years ago and still not used to it

    I really think it's just a combo of a light throttle spring and really lean stock tuning .
