Curious - I've seen some TRD off roads with RED letters on the rear qtr panel...

Lookin' classy there, amigo. Removing the decals entirely without installing new ones never even occurred to me

Still can't decide. I have a set of matte black replacements, but kinda like the silver and gray. Or... maybe nothing at all. Hmmmm...

I really dislike 4x4 plastered with a cheap sticker on my truck beds, I always have. When I used to buy S10's I would never get the ZR2 or 4x4 decals.
If people don't know what they're looking at, I don't care.

working up the 'courage' to remove mine and get ones I made installed. I don't have the ability to use a heat gun to remove mine (Live in an apartment), so getting it done without having to spend hours removing the adhesive behind has me taking pause.

A hair dryer will work too! It just takes a little more time to get the heat into the panel. Get one from CVS and return it when you're done. ;) Pull off the OG decals slowwww and you should be good 2 go. The new decals will look great. You got a vector file? lol

First thing I did when I got it home was take TuRD off the sides, along with the dealer sticker and the ugly chrome badging.

still too far from any outlet lol. I'll have to check with my one friend who's a homeowner if he has a heat gun and a few hours free.

I've always removed the side steekers from my Toyota trucks, they don't always do so well in the off road application. I used a 3M disk (+ drill motor), specifically made for removing steekers. The removal is quick and easy.

OEM one looks really good on the quicksand paint. I've never considered changing mine either.

I totally forgot about those disc "erasers". They kick ass!! Never used them on factory installed decals, but they work great especially for plotted vinyl stickers where you can't remove all of it in a single piece. From that pic, it looks like they work wonders on factory installed steeeekers.
