Some of us just came out of a 1 year wait for the pop&lock group buy to be over and products shipped.

I only paid 8 days ago and will definitely wait until next week before calling for an update.

I have not received an email with shipping information either.

this is where i messed up i guess

All-Weather Floor Mats offered in second row
    Notes on rear mat design

The Good...I am in Virginia and got my tracking number on Tues and Got my mats today!

The Bad...I open the box. they are the wrong ones the passenger side does not have the holes for the retaining hooks

The Question. Is it that big of a deal that the passenger mat does not have the retaining hook holes does the passenger side really move that much...Is it worth the trouble and wait of sending them back and getting the correct ones? And yes I did tell him I had the holes for the floor mat retaining hooks.

No, not for my 2008. The rear mat fits very well, no trimming required.

I told Mike that I had the holes on the passenger side and the mat had the holes as well, but I wouldn't think it would be a problem to use the mat without the holes and pegs on the passenger side. Unless the floor is shaped differently in models with the holes as compared to models without the holes, the mat should fit well. There is no danger of the mat slipping and jamming the pedals, which seems to be to be the main reason to have the mats locked down. I was using the heavy black rubber Toyota mats before I got the Weathertech mats and I used the pins to hold down the mat on the driver's side, but I just laid the one on the passenger side on the floor without using any pins and no one who rode in that seat ever had any trouble with the mat. As a bonus, you do not have any hole that could allow a lot of melted snow or a spilled soda or cup of coffee to get by the holes and into your carpet.

Me being rather lazy, I would probably just use the one that you got and call it good.

On the other hand, I think I have read where another person had a similar problem with not getting the right mat and they called Weathertech and Weathertech sent them the correct mat and also let the guy keep the wrong mat rather than making him send the wrong one back to the factory.

Mine came in today! yay!! They look sweet! Front and rear for an 02 dbl cab. Got a slight fit problem on the back right corner near the center console...may have to trim it a bit...but other than that, they look awesome. Will have pics up soon!

My current mats are generic and did not have holes to match the floor pins on either side. I had to drill my own holes.
I pulled them up this spring for a good cleaning (had a snowy / salty winter), and noticed the floor around the pins is very dirty. Apparently they are doubling as drain holes.

I really hope I do not have this problem with the Weathertechs - it's exactly why I bought them.

Had I thought about it, I would've ordered the mats without the pins and cut those damn pins out. I think this mat is large enough that the pedal could not get jammed under there. Besides, I know how to shift into neutral.

Fed Ex keeps teasing me. First it said I was going to get them Tuesday (3/31), then changed to Wednesday (4/1). Now they are telling me Thursday (4/2). What a horrible April fools joke.
