I just got my notification, same date of arrival 4/8/10. For the wait time I expect the quality/fit to be outstanding. I hope.

I got the driver's side with the holes - passenger side without. Fitment is fine all over with no problems. I guess if the mat seems to move around more than i want with people going in and out on the passenger side i'll cut holes and put a grommet or something around the hole and hook it in.

YES! Expecting delivery on the 8th too! I guess I will cancel that order for Tacoma OEM all weather mats...they were probably never going to come in since Toyota put a hold on them.

Anybody know if these WeatherTech mats will wear out on/near the foot area like the Toyota all weather mats?

Interesting that they made two BIG drop shipments for this group buy. Oh well, I look forward to the posts stating that they were received - AND pictures of them installed.

product is good... but the service i've encountered is not the same....

the wrong part number was shipped, lady on the phone kept stating that i am wrong and the number that is off is just to specify the color.. I tell her the thing doesnt fit at all! after 5 minutes of going back and forth she says oh they are for the access cab and not double... (yea well DUH the part didnt fit at all).

she says she'll give me the return number but i have to cover shipping.wait WHAT???
i get put on hold and she states she'll send a return label. I'm thinking ok.. here's my email addy... nope! snail mail!! It's 2010 i dont want to wait a week to get a return label through usps!!!
3-4 days to recieve return label.
at least 3 days to return the part.
14 days minimum to get the part made
another 3 days to get the part shipped.

thats 23 days to get it replaced! i needed these for the end of next week!
i saved a little through the group buy, but was charged shipping twice because i ordered fronts for an acc. cab and front and rears for a double cab. (the parts were all sent in the same box)
if i figure the shipping with the time im wasting... i really didnt save much... hopefully i'm the only one here.

thanks for the group buy though

I called today and spoke with Mike as I was sent the wrong rear window deflectors. He shipped my replacements out today via FedEx and told me to keep the ones they sent and either discard them or give them away (who wants rear deflectors for a double cab for shipping costs?).

if they weren't just for the rear i'd take them off your hands.

I got my WeatherTechs in today and am less than impressed with the fitment and their customer service.

I can't close the passenger side door because the mat doesn't sit flush with the sill. The driver's side door closes, with some force. The rear doesn't fit at all.

I called Weathertech this afternoon. Their solution for the bad fit up front was to 'flip the mat upside down and put something heavy, like a book on it'

She then verified the part numbers and everything with me. As soon as I told her it was a manual transmission I was then responsible for return shipping of the front mats because they don't make them for the manuals. I didn't realize the gap between the door and door sill was different on the 6-speeds :jerkoff:

For the rear she said that I had some optional storage tray in the back that was causing the rear liner to not fit and that they don't make one for trucks with the rear center console. Would have been nice if I was asked this when I placed my order so I don't have to go through the return shipping process. Btw, the '09 had the same rear console. She said they would give me a return label for the rear mat.

So what happens when I stuff the front mats in the box too? I feel like I got duped on this one. I hope I'm in the minority here.

Here's me fixing my mats. More of a formality before I send them back too.

sucks bro sorry to hear that. looks like you have an access cab and they gave you the rear mats for a double cab.

Yeah, it does suck hardcore. The rear mat sections will fit. The center section is too long through. The space between the front and rear center consoles in my truck is about 10". The Weathertech mat is 14" at that point. I could trim to fit but I paid $125 so I wouldn't have to do that. I don't mind hacking up a $20 Wal-Mart special which is exactly what I'm going to do after I return these.

There isn't. Thats a convenient excuse to try to make me pay return shipping on the front mats.

The only difference is the pedal interference and how the mat conforms to the floor at the very front on the driver's side only.

its ok, my box clearly says 2001-2001 double cab, but they don't fit. and when i called, they said they don't make them for the double cab. then why does your box say it???

and you are getting boned on the shipping, they are sending me a fedex label to have the fronts returned.
