I can plow through crowds of people with my arb bumper that get in my way of the treasure.

Did the tour of the island yesterday. There was a very strict no photos at tge money pit rule so i wasnt able to get pictures of that area. The holes they drilled last year were all filled in and charles said it is going to be a very interesting season this year...so well see what happens. They said theyll be filming up to the end of october so theres gotta be some stuff left to explore or explain.

Thanks for the update. Do you remember if those holes were meant to be further explored in this upcoming season according to last season's finale?

I was talking to someone a while back who knows one of the divers that has been down there and they said he was going back there during the summer. Im not sure where exactly he was diving at but id assume it was the newest hole they dug.

Watched the first episode - they got incredibly clear images down one of the holes and while it showed what might be chains, there didn't seem to be any treasure.

Yes, I hope they are successful but my training as a geologist tells me all these caverns are natural......

    already getting tired of....

Joe metal detector guy:"hey look we found a pull tab under this rock with an "A" on it"
anyone else: "lets get it carbon dated"

    announcer:
"Found a pull tab under a rock?!?!?"
"Found a letter on a pull tab?!"
"Could the pull tab be made from a material used in the 2nd century?!?
"Could they find that this pull tab dates to the 1970's?!?!?"

You would think that once "brothers Rick and Marty Lagina" are re-introduced at the beginning of every damn show it would suffice to refer to them as "Rick and Marty" without surnames and familial ties repeated ad nauseum.

I was going to suggest a drinking game where we all take a shot of liquor everytime their name is mentioned, but we'd all die of alcohol poisoning LOL.

Watching the latest episode and i find it funny how theyre all about accurate information but when they showed where they were going to COGS in lawrencetown to study old books they showed the wrong location on the map. There are two lawrencetowns in NS and the showed the one that the college isnt it. My source...i studied at COGS

Dammit I keep finding myself watching this shitshow. I can't help it...:anonymous:

So far they are finding trace evidence of the people who took the stuff away a long time ago. And then we are supposed to believe that drunken pirates were genius architects of complex ways of hiding things deep in the earth LOL.

Maybe Oak Island was used as a treasure storage bank by many bands of people for 100's of years. The latest fragments of bone are interesting though.

The cabbage farmer found it all I bet. Cabbage is code for money...ha!

Well it looks like they finished up another season with little to show for it aside from some inconclusive surface finds.

The only thing I found interesting is the bones they found at the depth they found them. Assuming the genetic and age testing was correct (human, time period, geographic origin of where the people were born) then that is very odd.

I think if they ever found anything during the summer when they do the work, then it would be next to impossible to keep that secret before the fall and the episodes are on TV. There would be so much local rumor plus any significant treasure finds would have to be reported to the government - there would be bound to be leaks in this day and age with the internet.

Now they have a new show "The Curse of Civil War Gold" which the theory there is a box car of civil war gold sunk somewhere in the Great Lakes.

The preview for the 2nd show shows them diving and the diver screaming out "we found a box car!!!!!". Well that was short....

so just binge watched almost all of the episodes this weekend. this show is infuriatingly staged/interesting/cool. JUST FOLLOW THROUGH WITH SOMETHING! they have had a fancy camera for looking down boreholes since day one but they only use it twice? "oh we found something interesting in this borehole" 3 seasons later they just dont look into it.

In 17th century Canada - first you get the cabbage, then you get the power, then you get the women.
