    Hello tacoma world,
I am having an issue with this sensor. I have been using this forum for a while to repair my taco and get rid off all my Xmas tree lights on the dash except for the airbag issue.

I have been unable to find out where this sensor is, and I donot think it is the same as the front. I have not pulled the front sensor to see if it has been tripped.

This is my ridge runner and has been drove hard so who knows. Both front sensors are there so I am just wondering if those are the ones I am looking for or if there is a side one I need to find.

    Thank you

What code number are you getting?
Are you referring to the side impact sensor?

I think it may be a side impact but I am not sure.
I scanned it again and it come up with a different one. Same code different though.

    Thank you for the reply

According to the code number it would be the Right (Passenger) Center or Rear sensor.
Best I can tell if you have a double cab the center is bolted to the floor under the B-Pillar trim and the rear is bolted to the rear lower part of the rear door frame under the trim.
The way I read it in the troubleshooting guide you can swap them one at a time with the opposite side and see if the code moves to the other side, if it does the one you swapped is bad.
