    Yup skid is gone! to be honest I was always back and forth on it. I had it up for sale 3x before I actually sold it.

    Hey Curt. I saw that you did the Arm rest mod. Im thinking about doing this too because mine are starting to look dark. How hard was it to do? Did you have to drill out the melted plastic rivets? If so, did you use screws to put it back together? Also, what kind of adhesive did you use? Im thinking about doing this tomorrow. :D Thanks

    I didn't do the door mod I did the center console cover. I guess I should change the wording on that. I've helped a few guys do the doors though and its pretty easy. when we did it you did have to drill out the plastic rivets then replace it with some screws when you put it back together. We used some leather my buddy had laying around and used some 3M spray adhesive. It worked like a champ and is still holding up well 4 years later. you can also look into to these http://www.redlinegoods.com/Tacoma05inserts.shtm if you want to have a custom color or something done.
