I will eventually be making on for the manuals, newer tacos, etc. It will just take some time, and finding people willing to loan me their trucks for a day or so to model them accordingly.

I’d be interested in one for a manual transmission 2nd gen if you end up making those.

I have been waiting a long time for this to show back up. What is the material used? Myself and a few friends print regularly if you'd like to sell/share the file(s) for us to print or even modify in Fusion360. They will be printed on some Vorons.

    Feel free to PM.

I would gladly send you my MT ‘05 cupholder trim piece. Having 3 cupholders is OK but the space could be better used.

The material is ASA. This allows it to handle the heat of a car in the summer without warping and the uv stabilizers mean it wont fade. While there is a bit of a cost premium, it is also USA manufactured filament. While I appreciate the interest and offer, I have no desire to release my designs at this time.

I'd prefer to find someone local in San Diego so that I can map out the available clearance underneath the console as well so that I don't eventually send someone something that won't fit. As an example, this is how tight of a fit this one is. Which brings up another forgotten fact. There will be slight modification to fit this one in. A small piece of plastic must be cut off for clearance. It's a non structural piece and can easily be done with a dremel, hacksaw, or carefully with a box cutter/exacto. I've circled it in red.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Good job brutha! Very cool to see people make this kinda detailed stuff. Funny, I got my degree back in ‘01 in 3D animation and modeling. I got to use a rapid prototype printer that was like the size of a car.
Now people ripping things out in their house. Too cool man.

I've worked with a few of those in Machine shops. While not that large, mine is still the size of a medium sized refrigerator and weighs about 200lbs. It cost as much as a car to make though!

I used to make creatures that look like they came from Lord Of The Rings…pretty cool to model, rig and animate, then print the model out so you can touch it.

I used to live in SD until last year :(

From what I remember it’s super clear underneath the cupholders on the MT 2nd Gen.

Any plans in the future to release different versions for AT? I'd be potentially interested just for the bigger cupholder opening alone, but not so much for the four switch spots.

    Excellent work none-the-less.

I havent tried painting it, so I can't speak to it's ability to adhere to paint. They do have primers specifically designed for plastics though. So I would recommend starting with a layer of that first. Here is an example, not a sponsor or reccomendation since I havent tried it myself. https://www.amazon.com/Rust-Oleum-2...23&sprefix=plastic+primer,aps,143&sr=8-2&th=1

I just came across this, actually from a Google images search for this exact thing. Do you still have it? And will it fit my 2015? Thanks.
