    This is Taco Porn!
All that fuel shortage that was happening can be solved next time if you carry extra Jerry Cans of gas in your bed. Anyone have any questions about the Taco Jerry? It's only $64.99

It all depends on where the mounts are for the tonneau. Check out the specs page and if you have more questions send me a photo of the inside of your bed with the cap on. I’ve also seen the taco Jerry work really well against the bed back wall with the third bed rail installed. Here’s the website www.tacojerry.com

Did you ever come up with an adapter or a mounting solution for those of us with the DECKED drawer system?

unfortunately no. My only thought is that I could make a shorty version but your can would sit above your bed rail. What is the height again between deck and bed rail. If your interested I can cut the back mounting plate down low enough so it will mount to the bed rails. Thoughts?

I appreciate the open dialogue. I’ll measure it and come back with pics.

Whoops, meant to come back here but was dealing with a brake issue on my other car.

If you could cut one down and it works, that would be awesome! I don’t mind sitting high, as I use a Softopper. Only concern there would be that the Softopper sides angle inwards slightly and might interfere with a tall object on the side possibly.

Anyway, see pics. I’ve got about 28” of horizontal to play with, before I run into the Softopper main mount/pivot point. Got about 3” from the end, but I can move the silver C clamp around as needed.

Height from top of deck to center of rail/channel = 4.5”

    Think it might work out?

The last photo is perfect but I need to see the height up to 13in. That’s the height clearance you will need for the bracket itself.

Im thinking it’s not going to work because of the angle of the soft top. It would most definitely work in the back of the bed but you would have to first install the third back bed rail.

Where are you in VA? I'm in Baltimore and could possibly swing down and visit you sometime for a test fit, next time I'm driving south. If that would be helpful at all.

I’m in Lynchburg. You’re welcome to stop by. I really do think your best solution is the beck bed rail option.
