Custom bed racks

Are you still only local on the racks @RickyTaco77 ? Just got my taco not too long ago, looking to throw an rtt on a rack and get out on the trails. Will be traveling from Southern California to Northern Washington for Miltary relocation. Looking forward to having some more freedom in the woods! Just need to start building a set up and some new gear.

 

I'd be interested in sliders when you start those.

 

I've just started helping out a local machine shop to help them catch up on their welding so a temporary 4-10's isn't bad. They also have a cnc plasma and laser so I'm going to see about getting some mounting plates cut so I can start some sliders. I'll probably get the tubing bent up in the next couple weeks but I've got a few requests for bed racks I'm trying to take care of now.

 

I don't know how to get it out there, shipping is really expensive there's always the TW Express but that is still a long way from here.

Got some tabs on to mount the tent, I'll be delivering this in the morning. @Mack411

@Mack411 I hope you enjoy your new setup, it looks great and I'm sure you and your family will have lots of great times with it. We will have to meet up in Boone and hit some of the forest roads.

 

I want to drop in and say thanks to Ricky again. Ive got this rack home and can't wait to put it to use!!Its super solid. He even got measurements from the rails on my rtt and threw some tabs on to make mounting it easier and faster. I have big plans for this thing, its super light but so strong. I'll keep you posted on everything as things progress and update once we get out and use it some.

Yes, made one last weekend but I forgot to take pictures when we put it on.

 

Instead of a full rack would you make just the bed rails?

 

Sure, I can make them for whatever you want. I'm having some side plates cnc cut this week so they will look better. These bars will put a roof top tent under a softopper.

 

Is it possible to do a rack that can be used in conjunction with a bakflip mx4?

Have you thought about making a cab rack at all? I'm thinking of try to build one similar to the prinsu design but would some input or pictures of ones you have made in the past.

 

Seriously. This guy should make a big tubular cab rack similar to those on the FJ and new 4Runner.
