Why does the 3rd row from the left look darker? Are they V1 or V2/AT or MT?

    Those are Titanium.

2 rows to the right of Ti are V1 MT.

The 4 on the far right are V2 AT.

12 on the left are V2 MT, (two shorties are hybrids).

My knob arrived today. I am blown away by the level of craftsmanship in this shift knob. Shifts feel much easier now and the size is much more substantial in the hand.

Working on some changes for spring.

Once I run out of stainless I will switch over to C360 brass for the "heavy" core option. 2 reasons ...

    1. No need for anti-seize lube
    2. Adds 13g of weight relative to 316 SS(for the gram-weenies)

Raw materials are more expensive, but it is a trivial amount ... no increase in the purchase amount. I do not have to use coolant to cut this material, so it actually evens out in a way.

I will offer a 2" diameter option as well. MOAR OPTIONS!!11!!one!!

MT weights will be (V2 Delrin Hybrid w/ Brass core) :

    352g for 2-1/4" diameter
    317g for 2" diameter

I do not plan to make more than 1 type of knob at a time. Batches make sense for me. Be sure to interact if you are a lurker, the batch choices will be driven by demand.

You're gonna have to register your knob as a lethal weapon.

You won't need to buy an entire knob, just the outer delrin part will work with everything else on your current knob. I actually redesigned all of the internal dimensions a while back in preparation for this.

Nah, just get more knobs. I can see adding 1 or 2 more LOL:spending:

Especially if more Ti’s are done ;)

It's going to be incredibly difficult to sustain the Ti option after the remaining 3 sell.

I will do it if there are enough to form a batch, but the material costs are pretty insane for that one. Shopping around for Ti is annoying, because most places hide the cost and want you to contact them for prices.

I love my knob ( hur hur durr), but I should have opted for this instead of the delrin ring. The ring looks and feels great, but damn the knurled solid knob is pretty.

Now, elevate that to knurled Ti solid body...custom engraved on top. Heat dissipation and cold deflection...

    Carry on wayward son.
