    Cool stuff
I have the core and the shift knob ... they work well together . unfortunately the threads are different so you will need a new knob if you get the core shit kit..... and some info ... the Core is the best shift kit period and its not close .... but it hs a MFr to install

You should be able to use a thread adapter instead of getting a new knob

I was just correcting your statement to inform others that a new knob isn't required and there are alternative options available. I didn't necessarily say it was the optimal option, but it is certainly doesn't required a new knob.

And I’m confused...4B709159-06B0-4D48-B246-340FCD0D71D5.jpg1AB75AE9-A72C-42DA-8863-5AF2411BA589.jpg is it not threaded?

okay. I get it now. Not the 5 minute job with what’s on there now. But I guess the 5 minute job was actually a series of 15 minute jobs.....o_O

What exactly are you trying to do or achieve? Your pictures have me scratching my head. What was the purpose of taking the core out (genuinely curious)?

I took the core out because it unscrews, i never saw the threads for the stick tucked up in the core at the top, it was just really confusing and I hit a mental roadblock that didn’t clear up until I sat down and ate some food. Lol

Got it. We've all done it. The "captain obvious" moment when your brain finally catches up to the excitement. Thanks for the explanation!

Was your knob on this most recent order? If so, it's cool to see final products going out. Anxiously waiting for my SS version.
