No matter what, whether the original sale or the leftovers, someone is going to be disappointed. This is the year of disappointment. Chips, fuel, lumber, not getting in on GME . . . you name it.

In the end, the knob that folks have now will last until next year. Or, @7r41lbr34k3r 's PM box could see some commission ideas should the stock dildo fall apart. :bananadead:

I was using google forms for quite a while, and have a nice order form made up that calculated every bit of math for me. It is a bit outdated and would need a refresh though. Have you figured out a way to integrate payment? That was the downfall for me and why I quit using it.

Also, Jeni's (Darkest Chocolate) is my favorite store bought pint. But at $10 it is not a frequent thing for me. Also a local creamery that beats them all, oWowcow. If they weren't absolutely insane about peanut allergies I would park my camper there for the summer.

I have no favorites. Even 'plain' vanilla hits the spot. But, I do enjoy mint chip.

Even cheap old ice cream sammiches are killer.

@lapoltba is the clear king of evaluating the various payment systems.

I am small time so I just accept anything/everything and mark the system used in my google sheet of responses so I can trace it back later on if necessary. Doesn't seem to be a challenge for me at all, no pay, no ship.

I am weird about vanilla. oWowcow has Tahitian, Indonesian, Madagascar vanilla flavors usually all available at once. People ordering those all of the time, but I need swirly/chunky bits to satisfy my craving. Unless it's dark chocolate, that can be without but preferred to also have swirls, lollipop shrapnel, sugar cubes, etc ...

Yep, same for me. I was getting a lot of orders with no deposit/pay, as if I would send anyway. The nerve!

No kidding on lumber! I went to the depot last night and wow, nuts. I got 3 redwood 2x2's from the dregs at the bottom of the bundle, fortunately I don't care much about quality for the intended use to shore up some raised beds.

If we're going for decadent chunk satisfaction, it is always bubblegum for me.

My standard is mint chip, but nearly anything else that isn't chewy is good.

All that said, I might eat three pints a year, and ice cream is one of the few sweet things that I like these days.

I'm thankful that I have not needed anything lately. Just playing it like the TP situation. Wait it out for sanity to return.

The in-law's are building a garage right now. Obviously had to get the quote re-done as it was pretty old ... and you know how that went. For the folks that have more money than time, gotta feel for 'em.

Seriously though.... Thank god I bought 90% of the material for my basement last year. 7/16" OSB = $46 The Advantech 3/4 subfloor I used was around $36 last year and is currently $102. I'm trying to get someone to do sheetrock in the basement now and there is zero availability. I'm probably going to have to end up doing it myself just like the rest of it.

    RE: Payment platforms
Square works, it's clunky and cumbersome but if you only have a few things to sell it isn't bad. It integrates well with shipping providers too.

If you have a business and want a bit of accounting too, Wave accounting is free and you can use it to send quotes, invoices, and collect payments by ACH or Credit card (for a nominal fee just like all the others). I use it for my LLC and it has been working out great.

    Thanks!

I used to be a machinist. Built lots of really cool stuff for Aerospace and the nuclear power industry. The workmanship you're exhibiting on these is beautiful. We used to do tons of stuff in Inconel and Nickel-42 that was meant to be used for sensors in power plants and had ridiculous callouts for dimensions and surface finish. Titanium can be a bit gummy and crappy to machine too IIRC so props on such a nice product.

Nice, and thanks! Yes my previous employer was a job shop that handled aero/defense type contracts. Loooots of Ti and nickel based alloys there (usually monel 400). The current day job is nuclear and big energy in general (lots of Inconel).

Titanium isn't too bad for these until drilling, as you are correct with the gummy bit (it likes to choke and smear on the flutes). If that doesn't get it, it'll demolish tools simply by refusing to absorb heat. I know what to look out for at this point, easy peasy ... just takes a little longer.

Been using squares cash app for years. Works well.

If there is a lottery I'm in. I'm not too picky on the knob out of what you showed, but I would only want one of the 400g + ones. I'm sure I won't be the only one with similar requests. Complicates things some I imagine.
