Custom Emblems by Metalmiller

Please don't take this as me being a jerk!
If you read my earlier posts I have made numerous attempts to resolve this with Metalmiller. I have no doubt he makes a quality product and don't want to screw up his business especially if he is going thru some personal things like we all do!
But I believe he needs to make things right with those who he has taken their $$$ and should be suspended from doing business on this site until he makes things right. I recommend moderators give him a drop dead date or face being banned.
I've said it once and I'll say it again! I have done much $$$$ business on this site and members keep us honest. This type of business conduct erodes at the integrity of TW and reflects poorly on other vendors.

 

just sent yet another email today. So far he has $280 of my money granted he has sent me my front emblem but I still need two side badges.

 

What was the wait time for the front emblem if you don't mind my asking?

 

5 months- and it was the wrong color, however, he did say he would fix it, but that was back when he was responding to emails. 8 months in and still waiting. I have noticed that they're having the same problem with him on tundratalk.net and the emails stopped about the same time too. Hope nothing is wrong with him.

 

5/27/14 was when I got an e-mail saying my ship date was 5/28/14, I replied back asking for tracking info if available, still no reply and no delivery.

 

I received my emblem today.

If I can find something to fill the giant hole in the head of the figure that was, if possible to be an arched eye, then I'll be happy with it. As of right now it just looks like there is a hole in the figures head.

I had worked with him based off a movie poster for the film, Army of Darkness, with Bruce Campbell. The detail is good and it's a solid emblem that I'll be happy to rock on the front of my truck...again once I fill in the hole that is supposed to resemble an arched eye.

I've attached the mockup and the final product.

If I had been told in the first place how long this would take the only bad thing I'd have to say is communication was poor and whoever ok'd the "eye" should not be allowed to make product decisions.

Anyone have suggestions as to what to use to fill in the head?

Just received an email from Metalmiller last night saying he'll be getting my order shipped out soon. Good news so far- so he is still around and following up.
