I recently made flat door panels on my 90 Miata.
These doors look to also have very flat door cards.

Has anyone made new cars out of things like corrugated plastic sheets or the like?

I was thinking of making ones painted body color where the fabric/vinyl is, but with my stock tan pieces.

    Has it been done?
    I didn’t find anything with a search.

My Miata doors, though thde current version left off the pocket-it just didn’t work like I expected- too small & not enough flex to be useful:

I used some 1/8" textured plastic I got from eBay to do my 95 Tacoma

    I love it!
I haven’t gotten either the Clifton or Haynes manuals yet, so does anyone have a shot of the door card reverse?
I want to see how it all attaches.

I know the card edges just pop out
Are the plastic parts screwed through the card?
Is the small circle near the front of the top plastic piece attached diretly to the door?
I don’t want to bust anything.

Nevermind- Ebay picts answered most of my questions.
