Question, i got mine and was hoping it would clear my fuse tap, but it doesn't. I ordered this before getting under there and looking at the dimensions, the height is fine but it's not wide enough. Any thoughts? Here's a pic. I didn't realize the under dash fuses were the low profile ones (PITA to remove). Not sure if they make a smaller fuse tap.

    “It’s not wide enough”
Is it hitting the fuse holder itself(right side in your picture) or the power wire coming off the left?

The fuse cover has notches in the side, you have to pop out the corresponding slot so the wire can pass through and have clearance.

I couldn't find a fuse that is ignition on that i had a corresponding normal fuse for that would fit in the tap. so there's not enough room where the tap is for the power wire to make it's way out one of the slots.

In this case i used the airbag fuse as i knew that was on only when the ignition was on. i also tested the sunroof fuse which also worked but there was no way the cover would fit using that location.

I'm going to try using the IG1-2 fuse instead. That may line up better.

You should be able to bend the wire to make it fit. Mine wire doesn’t exit the fuse holder directly next to the add a fuse either, I bent it to a 90 degree angle and had it exit in a different location.

yeah, this would work so much better if it was half an inch wider. the slots only line up with certain spots on the fuse panel. not sure if others are just cramming and pinching the fuse tap in there but i don't want to ruin mine.

let me clarify that the piece is top notch quality and i have no complaints besides the clearance. there is plenty of open space on each side of the fuse block to allow the cover to be 5-10mm wider on the door side and maybe 5mm wider on the column side allowing for more room for a fuse tap or multiple fuse taps without pinching wires.

as it is designed now, i'm not using the cover for that reason. if you do a v3 that is wider i'll buy it.

    Thanks.
