Takes time a effort! I suggest buying another grill and then cutting up that one so if you mess up you still at least have the stock. If you do everything right just pop off the one you have and sell it. Check the buy/sell/trade that's were I got mine and just waiting for my mesh to come in.

OP, currently working on mine and it takes a lot time and effort. I just added up my hours into it to date is about 40 hours. And I still have a ways to go. Click my "Satoshi Progress" link in my sig to see my progress. Honestly, there have been times I wanted to give up and quit. If you choose to embark on this journey, I would suggestion checking out the 2nd gen marketplace for a second grill.

Well, I'm going more for a traditional, "deep dish" satoshi. Kind of like Homer's 2012 prototype he made and sold:

    [IMG]http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/homertaco/296921-2012-satoshi.html

I've seen that video, but to each their own I guess. I'm from Chicago and we love our deep dish here! :hungry:

Not really for me. I think it looks nice and I think the people that have made them did an awesome
job. Mine will have the 85-90 FJ emblem, color matched and outlined in white.

By sides you mean? The sides of the grill you have to build? The mesh?

    The mesh? :notsure:

I had a spare piece of flat steel from an old project that I used. I just took my time and went back constantly to test fit it until I liked it. Homer's Grill (above) is my inspiration for the satoshi I am building; compared to his, mine is awful
