Custom kydex holsters

How about a Ruger SR40/SR9(they're same dimensions)? And a spare mag holster? Both IWB please.

 

hey man if I can locate on around here, I can do a holster that is for the gun and mag together for $55 + $9 for s&h or do a bottom fold with divorced mag holster for $40 + $7 or a top fold with divorced mag holster for $45 +7

 

I think I would rather have the mag separate, it's a heavy carry gun as it's a mid to full size frame w/ 15 rounds. I would like the kydex just the edge of the bbl, open bottom and top, for the gun. Closed bottom for the mag, open top. What do you mean bottom/top fold?
If I need to draw, pray that I NEVER will, I want it fast. Also, what is the retention like? I don't want it falling out of the holster during daily activities.

 

bottom fold is just a 1 piece that folds at the bottom like

a top fold is the inverse (this is a paddle holster that's what that thing is on the back side) it takes a bit more material and is more difficult to line everything up so I charge a little more for it. retention, especial iwb is going to be very similar (with a heavy gun owb I would recommend top fold because it is slightly more secure and it moves more than iwb) I do adjustable retention screws on all my gun holsters so you can set it like you want it.

 

btw I wear the gun in my avatar everyday, its a 7 shot .357 with a 4" barrel and I think I weighs 36 oz empty and I made a bottom fold for it if that helps any

 

Okay.
Bottom fold IWB then. I only carry outside if I'm at the range or hunting. Usually have a shoulder rig for hunting. Never know when a coyote or wild dog may come at you, or a bobcat climb up your tree.

My EDC is a Taurus 85 in .38 in summer, the SR40 in cooler months.

Yes. The C is the compact model. The E is the "essential" model, they're stripped down so to speak and don't have the same dimensions as the full size.

 

So neither will work? Or is it just like smaller grips and the barrel/slide/trigger gaurd is the same?
