Custom kydex holsters

gonna have a g19 with an inforce tac light soon, and currently have a ruger p89 for a day or so

 

Anyone need a holster for a shield with crimson trace laser/flash light combo... Ill have it till like 7 in the mornin haha

 

I know this is a clip for iwb but he wanted an owb he could put on and take off without having to undo his belt; as light as this shield is it should be fine

 

Gonna change my iwb clips style up. Had a trial run making some last night and they came out pretty decent. A few more tweeks and they should be close to perfect.

Finally pickin up that g19 with the inforce light, guy was waitin on it to come in. Must have came from china by boat haha

Two holsters finished out last weekend. For Glock 21SF with Surefire x300u

 

looks good. make sure to block out the ejection port when pressing

 

What he said, u will wind up with kydex shavings or worn slide finish or a little of both. U can do it with a heat gun still tho so its not a big deal

 

or it can cause the slide to move out of battery when holstered. Never had it happen to me but the Gods of the kydex world say it's not a good thing.

 

Now that u mention that i did a ruger sd9 (somethin like that) and I used a sd9e and the retention was great on the 9e but when the guy got it its was just too snug on the sd9 and i think he said it would move his slide (even with the adjustment screw back out pretty far), but a lil heat gun work fixed that in no time

 

Not to be different, but out of all the kydex holsters I have made, for over 3 years now I have never once completely blocked off the ejection port. Gets about 3/4 of the way blocked off. Never have had a slide or shaving issue. Glock 21s have a very deep ejection port, they might get adjusted a little after it gets checked with the real steal.

 

Just finished this one, made a track for the too clip screw and cant is adjustable from basically 0 to basically unusable haha

 

Like I said I've never had a problem with it but as others have mentioned on the kydex forum I'm on, it could happen. I don't want to be the guy that sells or has the holster that when you draw on the bad guy, it's out of battery or shavings get caught in there causing malfunctions and no bang. Guess YMMV

 

Anyone need a holster for a cobra .380, not really sure the model but i think its the smallest one (i know its prolly a stretch for someone to buy a $40 holster for a ~$125 gun but im fixin to build one for a guy i used to work for so someone else may be in the market as well)
