    I didnt need to do that. I took a very small flathead screw driver, got between the light and the console on the inside section of the light and applied a small amount of outward pressure and the cover popped off with out any issue.

    Just installed my ultimate red maps. I like it, but I'm not sure, never had red lights inside. Going to order a set of the smoked v1's when they come back and then I will put whichever ones I don't want back in the pool here for cost.

    I was unable to pull out the stock bulbs when trying to install my map lights last night. Now the dome and map lights are not working. I think it's a fuse after searching this thread so I will try that next.

    Any tips on getting the map lightbulbs out?

    Pull the whole panel out and get them from the back side. Also, make sure the switch is set to OFF so you don’t blow another fuse. Or even better, pull the fuse, replace the bulbs, THEN replace the fuse

    Would it be possible to get map/dome lights that can be switched from white to red(a dimmer red to save night vision) for night ops?

    I do not want constant red though. I want to be able to alternate between white and red depending on what I am doing.
