Wow, missed out on the red maps. Need to complete the set but guess I’ll have to wait even longer. Totally triggered I set email notifications for the ultimate turn signals but not these and just had to miss out once again.

Just finished my smoked maps and ultimate dome light install. I'll be damned if I'm not the only one who had trouble getting the pos/neg sides right on all three plugs before I finished.
Those of you wondering if the smoked maps will be bright enough..if the ultimate dome light is anything like the ultimate map lights, I wouldn't turn the maps on when driving if you need to see the road. It's effing bright.
Thanks again @mesojdm. You make some cool stuff for us all.
Also check your pm's. Your shipping info was on my package, I just want to make sure..

I agree with Blown ION, I have the ultimate dome and was patiently waiting for the ultimate maps. The ultimates are super awesome and bright, perfect for the back but in the front I think I’m going to prefer the smoked maps. Ordered them today.

I did too. So easy to install some light. I ordered the smoked map lights after reading some comments.

I’m excited for the other one to come in!

No. Just turned off the lights. Put it in, turned lights on to make sure I had it the right way.

I also jacked mine up and put it on blocks! Then I removed the tonneau cover to have better access to my tools!

    :sorry: couldn't help myself!

@cruetes I did disconnect my battery, I dont think it must be done though. The connector for the Dome light is a bulb replicator so its the same concept as changing a light bulb in the house. There are no exposed ends of the wire to mess with.

In that case, do what’s comfortable for you. Turning off the lights from the overhead button was enough comfort for me.

No I know! I've done something stupid myself already! But you just have to laugh and keep on learning.

I had one backwards and it didn't break anything.
