Custom LED Map and Dome lights

Your truck must be a Mall runner if you think the one in the truck works fine you know where there are street lights everywhere? when out off road and the only light there is happens to be what you bring and the Moon is not up every bit of light is vital that it works and works well.
I have purchased other types and they suck because the way they mount and use the OEM plastic light cover like everbright and JIE also 2 other overlanders I run with have them and yea I hate to admit it but they work better and very clear light so maybe just a "fun mod" to the Mall crawl Crew but a darn good one for the overland rig.

 

I understand everyone’s frustration, it’s been a while since I released some maps. I only had about 80setd (40white, 40 red) this will most likely be the last run with 3D printed housings. I am injection molding the maps and domes as we speak so the next batch will have PLENTY and the quality will be a touch more OEM. Thanks everyone!

never been off Road and middle of the night before Camping? Should try it ummm flashlights really suck when you have entire back of truck full of gear and you need to get something out (need both hands at times)

LOL yeah thanks I have one of them they OK I been looking for a good rechargeable one I been using rechargeable batteries in it but more things to carry and loose

Will the visual design of the new injected maps & domes be essentially the same as the ones used currently for maps and domes? I'm asking for those of us who have yet to complete a set of maps and domes, and are interested in maintaining the matching look of the cabin lights. If they will not not be the same look as your current design, will the new injection maps and domes both be offered for sale at the same time so we can pick up a full set? (After which, I will promptly have a white dome for sale...)

 

While it might be a fun mod for some, there is a real benefit to red light when working in near blackout conditions. White light murders me at night in the country when moving from the truck to no light on foot.

At this point I am going to have to come up with a solution on my own till the next batch are released.

As miffed as I am about missing them again, I am more excited about the injection molded units. I will likely replace my dome as well to get the same level of quality out of both.

Got my red maps in today. I can't wait to get off work and install. Shipping is ridiculously fast. Almost as fast as they sell out
