Custom LED Map and Dome lights

The piece that the current bulb is in.

Pull the bulb out of it, and screw it back into the housing. Plug the new map light into that from the front and push the wire into the open space and snap the MESO housing in.

 

Hmm thanks. I have one side working, but not the other. The OEM bulb works but not the meso. Might have a faulty passenger side. I'll keep trouble shooting

 

I thought the same thing at first. Try plugging the non working side in the opposite way. That worked for me.

 

Unplug it, rotate the plug 180°, and plug it back in. Then it should work. LEDs are polarized and only work in one orientation.

 

Did both. The origional non working side ( passenger) was switched to the drivers side. Driver still works passenger does not. Flip it as well on the passenger still no bite. I'll try playing with some of the wiring see what happens

 

Make sure it isnt pressed in to turn off? I thought Meso mentioned that once when someone had a similar issue- just a thought

 

Yeah I checked that too. Opened the doors as well so that the dome and map lights turned on and was playing with it to see of it's work.

 

Anyone got some White maps for sale?

 

Just threw the red maps in.. not sure if I like the red maps + white dome... might have to go back to full blind mode

 

How do I get in on these?

I installed a set of white map lights today in my 3rd gen. The driver side works perfect, the passenger side will not turn off, even the “off” position. I put the original bulb back in and the light is still on... fuses all look to be ok. I’ve removed the bulb for the time being, any recommendations? I looked at some older threads, but no really good answers.

 

Did you click the little button up inside the cavity?

I just went outside to take a look again, that was it...100% user error...FML.

Just got me a set of red maps finally from an awesome member on here. The set is finally going to br complete. He sold it to me for what he paid plus he covered the extra shipping. Offered to pay the difference but he said no. Don't want to mention who he is so he doesn't getting hammered by the rest of you lol. If he wants to show up that's on him.
