Custom LED Map and Dome lights

Got mine yesterday. Installed today thanks @MESO for shooting me that video. Made it a lot easier for a casual like me. They look awesome couldnt be happier.

Installed my maps and dome lights. They are bright. The @MESO plugz for the maps were loose but I just use a pick to push connectors closer together and they fit tighter.

The only issue I had is that the plug on the dome seems a little bit to long. I used a smaller one I had from a led board I was using.

Installed my maps and dome. Easy and smooth install per the usual for MESO. I do have one issue with my set though. How do I get rid of the white spots in my eyes after I turn them off?

Minor issue with my white dome connector, the positive side cap cut the wire off and the cap came off. I tried trimming the wire jacket off and putting the cover back on but still no power.

Anyone have suggestions?

Also, the dome light fits in a 2019 RAV 4, so when I get this fixed my wife will be getting a surprise upgrade

Now for V2 Map/Domes Info.
There are a few tricks up my sleeve for the next versions;
1) DUAL COLOR-Yes I have listened. And it seems a dual color(white/red) Map and dome is long overdue. You WILL loose a little light output just because I had to split up half color(60%white, 40% red) but will still have better output than most aftermarket LED bulbs.
2) DIODE BRIDGE- WTF? V2's will have this little magical on board chip. This will make installation a breeze. What does this thing do? In a nut shell, you can't plug the light in the wrong way. It takes regular or reversed polarity and changes it the correct way. So even if you plug it in backwards( +, -) the light will still work. No more guessing on the plug orientation.
3) MESO PLUGZ-These little adapters I designed to plug into where the stock bulb was. It has worked for the most part, but some users are reporting it is not making a tight connection into the OEM socket. I am going to make a new version that is wider and hopefully fit more snug.

The polarity is reversed, reattach like it was and flip it in the socket.

Dome light plug broke on mine during install, was a bit tight. It was the center plastic bar that broke, so it became less tight and the spring holds it in snug. Been that way for 4K miles and works like a charm. Light output is more than expected. Haven’t been able to get a set of maps yet. Still, nice product!

You have some great stuff!! Just wish it was available, was on the site today and 90% percent of 2nd gen isn’t available. Once you figure out a way to get production up and things available readily, I’m a customer.

I did notice one to be not as snug as the other adapter. It gave me a little trouble but I got it. I don't know if it was the actual adapter itself or the tabs needing to be bent out a bit. Either way very pleased with your product as usual! Thanks man!

Now bring on dem puddles can today start "this weekend"?

Help from this thread, excellent customer service and a little patience got my domes finally working last night. Lovin the red LEDs. Looking forward to the new stage 1 tails and V5 turns soon.

The @Tacowiede anodized radio knobs w/superwhite TRD really pops under red ultimate maps and dome from @MESO
