    Hah I was the same. All the pictures I've seen the v1's are already insanely bright. I figured the dual brightness would give a more subdued option, not go the other direction!

    But in the end I want red anyway so the kids and wife can read and such on car trips without destroying my night vision, so I went for the dual color version.

    Are the new design dome lights for the 3rd gen going to be capable of fitting/ working into any future overhead Molle rack plans that would go front to back for non sun roof models?

    I do not think it will be an issue, since the Ultimate Domes only replace the "light" part of the dome lights. The base does not change.

    The OEM dome base will to snap into the molle rack. The prototypes seem to mimic the OEM mount holes.

    The sunroof version seems to have a 3D printed adapter to accept the OEM dome base. @RyanDCLB can chime in on the sunroof version.

    Glad to see they are still in stock. Based on my order number just now and one I saw in 2nd gen from yesterday, that's about 1400 orders (give or take) in < 24 hours.
